How adoption works
Because our dogs live in foster homes, every meeting is by appointment. It starts with an application.
Apply
Tell us about your home, your routine and any pets you have.
Reference check
We call your vet to confirm your current pets are up to date.
Meet and greet
We match you with a dog and set up a meet with your whole household, dogs included.
Home visit
A quick visit to your home, and then it’s adoption day.
Not ready to adopt? You can still help.
Volunteer
We need help with transport, events, dog walking, and cleaning and organizing.

Donate
As a 501(c)(3), we run on donations. Every dollar goes toward food, medical care and training for dogs in our care.
Donate with PayPalHope for Healing
Some dogs come to us needing surgery or long-term treatment. Our Hope for Healing fund pays for it, and it helps neighbors who are struggling to afford vet care for their own dogs.
It’s named for Hope, a sweet girl whose cancer care was paid for by donors.
Visits are by appointment only
Please don’t come to any of our locations without an appointment. We’re busy caring for the dogs, and appointments keep them and our staff safe.
